When I was taking pictures of the incredible macro shapes and patterns found in last weeks snow/ice, I wondered how difficult it would be to capture a macro shot of an individual snowflake. A few days later I stumbled across these shots taken by German photographer Matthias Lenke. So unbelievably stunning! Nature is astounding, and it’s free to look at…love it.
