More blood? seriously, a lot of blood is being taken. Every 5 minutes for 30 mins after the infusion, then every 15 minutes, then every hour, then every 2 hours… Thorough science in progress!

I'm Holly Webber, I'm 26 years old and in January 2010 I was diagnosed with advanced bowel cancer at the age of 23yrs. After 2.5 years of aggressive treatment, combining chemotherapy with three major surgeries, my cancer has now been diagnosed as terminal. In January of this year I embarked upon a clinical trial in the hope of slowing down the progression of secondary disease on my liver and lungs. It was unsuccessful. I'm now officially receiving palliative care from the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. I created this page so that I can blog my story, with the aim of helping others and inspiring my readers.
