Today has been a little bit better. Currently hooked up to the second drug, waiting for the infusion to end any moment. Hopefully I will be able to go home tomorrow for 24 hrs - returning Friday for more bloods and monitoring.
Yesterday was so awful that it’s all become a bit of a blur. I was 99% ready to do a runner…I didn’t, but I’m still doubting my strength to continue.
I’ve met some really nice people on the ward, the lady in the bed opposite is such a character. We’ve been able to keep each others spirits up :)
That’s all for now. I only got a couple of hours sleep last night, so I will try and force in a kip before my visitors this evening. I’ll update in more detail tomorrow.
