A Beautiful Weekend
Thank you to my bestest bud Mole and Si (they are separate people by the way!) for an amazing and classic weekend. You managed to take my mind of everything - mainly through aggressive Mario Kart racing and stuffing myself silly with fine cuisine! What the hell - it worked!

Holly, this is not an old persons disease as many believe.. you are a walking example of that. My mum at 52 is in a similar position.. i CANNOT imagine the year you’ve had. To document it in this way and try and breath words into an impossible situation is brave, honest and self-less. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. You have been through so much this past year one cannot help but applaud your strength in getting through such intense surgeries and treatments. Love,
Judith McGuinness

It tells the story of Eels lead singer Mark Everett and his father Hugh Everett who was once a top quantum physicist. Well worth a watch… Although I’m still not sure I understand quantum mechanics!
My Story
In January 2010 I was diagnosed with advanced bowel cancer. It was in February 2010 that a CT scan revealed that the cancer in my colon had spread to my liver - where I had 25 secondary growths. After 6 months of Chemotherapy, I received the news that my tumors had shrunk by 60%. It was then that my liver surgeon and his team agreed to perform a liver resection to remove the 25 lesions. I was told...
